2006 House Wine Chardonnay

Recommended by my Tx Ranger bud and his wife, whom I encountered while wandering the Costco wine displays. Later tried as a sipper before supper and was very pleasantly surprised.... color is very pale, more like a Sauvignon Blanc... gentle nose without noticeable oak, good fruit again without oakiness, nice finish. 13.5% alc/vol and $8.99. From the Magnificent Wine Co. of Mattawa WA, Columbia Valley appellation.
