N/V Nissley, Pennsylvania, Rhapsody in Blue ($10.75). Along a continuum ranging from dry to off-dry to semi-dry, Nissley describes this wine as semi-dry wine made from a blend of French hybrid grapes. Could be that the bottle ended up in my cellar because mother liked the color of the bottle.

Having said all that it was a very nice wine. The sweetness was equalled by the strength of the well blened fruit. No catch in the back of the throat. Decided to pop it with ham and cheese sandwiches tonight after a noon dinner on the road. The wine worked very well with the food, and was nice sipping afterward without dessert too.

Nissley does produce a complete line of red and white wines from dry to sweet. They have a tasting room in their winery in Bainbridge, PA, and at malls in Harrisburg, Lancaster, and Camp Hill. They will ship throughout Pennsylvania.
