The 1999 Chateau de La Chaize, Brouilly is on sale here at the Navy Exchange Package Store. I've had a few bottles and have enjoyed them for what they were. The price IK quoted is about the same as is charged here in Virgina Beach. The Chateau de la Chaize does come in a non-standard bottle, short and squat.

After having sampled most, but not all, of the Crus Beajolais from the ten villages allowed to use that appellation, I've come to the conclusion that the Brouilly and the Cote de Brouilly can be hard to distinguish from the other wines bottled as Beaujolais or as Beaujolais-Villages. The Cote de Brouilly is a bit more distinctive than the Brouilly.

I've kinda settled on the Moulin-a-Vent, the Morgon, the Chiroubles, Julienas and the Fleurie as the better of the Crus.
