White Beaujolais

hi, i found a bottle of this wine, chateau des jacques' beaujolais-villages blanc w/the title "grand clos de loyse". i THINK it's the one you're talking about. i'm new to wines and have no idea what to drink this with and if it should be drunk now or if it can/should wait (it's 1997). i hope you won't think it's a waste on a newbie if it's good, but could you tell me what you honestly think and what to do with it?
