Well, if I can interject in your conversation, are you a year-round pink drinker? I always talk a good game about drinking dry rose all year, and I really believe that dry rose and sparkling wines are among the most versatile and overlooked food wines out there, but I never seem to open a rose unless it's 90* outside. Go figure. Thus, I always begin the spring with a half-dozen to dozen fading pinks from the previous summer that we just never got around to. Perhaps I'll try and correct that this autumn and winter.
