'04 Vega Sindoa Rose'

2004 Bodegas Nekeas, Vega Sindoa, Rose', Navarra ($6.99 NH Liq Store). 50% Garnacha and 50% Cabernet Sauvignon. Alcohol level: 13%. KC made a post on the '01 version of this one back in '02, and have seen nothing else since.

Well it is a very nice pinkie, giving lush strawberry and ripe raspberries on the nose and tongue tip. Halfway decent complexity and more fruit in the middle, and a nice finish completes the picture.

Matched it with something called "Salmonburgers" that we found in the frozen fish part of the fish department of our super. They we very nice served on a hamburger roll with mayo and lettuce. They were accompanied with green beans almondine.
