1998 F de Fesles Bonnezeaux

Chateau de Fesles' second label. 15 bucks for a half bottle

Honeyed pears, citris and sweet spices on the nose. same on the palate. A nice medium feel. with a good finish. It has a lot of gewurztraminer characteristics, but a lot more sublte and less pungent than any gewurz.

Its made from botrytis affected chenin blanc. Great stuff from a 1000 years old winery. My wine store has the first label of the 97 for 30. Might go back and get it.
