Pinot is a good call, but don't forget about whites. You have olive oil & garlic to deal with and it is lunchtime. To deal with the pork though, you need some power.
Try Alsace. Any decent producer of Pinot Blanc or Pinot Gris will work. The blanc will be cleaner , the gris a touch of sweet. Both will have power and very little to no oak. Both will also fit your budget.
