There's a huge advertising campaign going on down here in MA from the NH State Stores. They're telling us how they're now giving a discount on full case and over sales. Then they go on to say that they have the lowest prices in the country. Well, there have been several customers in our shop telling us how they always pick up stuff (beer, wine and spirits) when they're down in MA from their homes in NH visiting friends or relatives. We've been told our wine prices are $2 or more a bottle cheaper than NH stores and our spirits prices are $4 or more lower. There was one guy from NH who picked up a full case of Patron Silver 750's because our price was $9 cheaper than NH. So, who came up with this ad campaign and who are they trying to fool? Admittedly, I haven't been to NH to check their prices myself, but 30 or so customers from NH in our shop over the past few weeks seems to tell a tale.
