You have good taste in friends. Chateau Margaux is one of the most prestigious wines in the world--with prices to match. It is also of very high quality. In a good vintage, which 1990 is, Margaux can easily improve in bottle for 20 years. If you have adequate storage conditions--constant temperature in the fifties or low sixties--you may want to hold onto it for at least a few years. You are in for a glorious wine experience. Cheers!
