The Mets are out of the play-offs and they played the last game at Shea Stadium. What a touching closing ceremony. Willie Mays, Yogi,and a host of Met heroes were there, and of course, my all time favorite heart-throb, Tom Seaver, who threw out one very last pitch at Shea to Mike Piazza....... I cried like a baby. sniff
