This guy, or a clone, shows up periodically to hype this gadget under this or other names. When I first saw this a few years ago, I did some research to see what the principles behind the claims might be. To be brief, what it does is cause the tannin chains to clump. This is similar in effect to the long chain polmerization the tannins undergo over time. However, what these guys have failed to take into consideration are the other chemical changes a wine undergoes while the tannins resolve. So, they've effectively short cutted only a portion of the aging process, and the tannin clumps return to their previous state after a short period of time. I could go on and on, but Bucko said it best the last time we heard from this guy - "Fraud, fraud, fraud!" BTW, what was the guy's name who came in your shop?
