My brother-in-law is off to Normandy to write some articles for his boss, USA Today, about the invasion--his dad, my father-in-law, was on the Stars and Stripes and he was personal information specialist to Dwight D. He was on the invasion, along with Andy Rooney who is slated to meet up with my b-in-law over there.

Remembering all the war dead is an imperative--trying to do something real to stop wars would be a good idea too.

Me, I try to forget my time in service; never was any good at soldiering...
