I spent three DAYS this week trying to get Fed Ex Ground to pick up two cases of VERY expensive wine (we used them at the request of the customer). This was after we went to the local Fed Ex office to get a waybill and were given XEROX's with no tracking numbers. AND, after they called us two days in a row whining about how they were "running late" and "could they pick it up on Monday?"!

I called the Fed Ex 800 number and asked them if they realized they were burning up billions of dollars worth of consumer confidence capital and they seemed to know but didn't now what to say. I asked them point blank if they had just bought some second rate UPS clone and slapped their name on it and if they wanted our business in the future and they just sputtered...

BIG thumbs down on this service (and they just made a bunch of noise about wanting to get into the wine shipping buisiness in a big way)!

18 hours and counting, Roberto
