I must agree with the others on here. In the store in which I work, we will not discount a case of sale wine, but we will count sale bottles in a mixed case. In our particular store there is no ratio controlling how many of those bottles need to be full price bottles....a loop hole my boss knows about, but has left alone. It is interesting how few people abuse our system. We rarely have people bring up 11 sale bottles and 1 full price bottle....its usually a more even mix, and so we have not bothered to post a notice spelling out a ratio. On average tho, I would bet most stores have a ratio they want followed and it would be a good idea to ask before bringing your 'would be' purchases to the counter.
