Anyone watch the Oil for Food Hearings this morning? The senator from MN was severely outclassed by the MP from Britain. I have no idea of the fact in this case but the rhetorical skill, historical reference, humor and wonderful accent (he sounded Scottish) of the Brit just killed. All the networks went live in the middle of their other shows as it was just great theater.

In a way it reminded me of Pacino as Michael Corleone in the Godfather II at his Senate hearing (and the famous Howard Hughes showdown).

If we had politicians like this guy the Mayoral race here in LA would not be decided by 12% of the eligible voters.
