WD - That's very similar to what happened to my neighbor a few weeks ago. He was driving through Worcester and had to amke a right turn. He says (and the police report backs him up) he made a signal for a right turn at an intersection and was waiting for traffic to clear ahead of him. He got about two car lengths from the intersection when another driver tried to pass him on the right side and hit him, and hit the right side front wheel so hard it broke the tie rod. Turns out the lady actually wanted to go straight through the intersection and was in such a hurry she tried to make it through in the breakdown lane. Too bad - $200 fine, three points on her insurance and $3200 to fix my neighbor's vehicle. Bad time to be in a hurry I guess.
