A nice Father's Day

After church yesterday, we drove up to San Marcos and met daughter for lunch at Mamacita's, a nice Mexican restaurant near SW Texas U. She had driven down from her home in College Station, a couple of hours to the NE. We delivered some frozen burger patties that we'd grilled Saturday night, since she loves those things almost as much as the babybacks, then spent the afternoon in what daughter calls "retail therapy" at the Outlet Mall - hundreds of factory outlet stores along IH35 south of San Marcos. We all still managed to return home by dark, having done our best to boost retail sales figures of Bass Shoes, Vanity Fair, etc. No complaints at all. When we got home, I chilled out with a couple of glasses of the PR Rutherford Cab. Sweet.
