IK, thot I did name names....... Bad place was Total Wines and More here in Virginia Beach. Good place was State Line Liquors in Elkton, Maryland (whose name I did not mention). Both are a far cry away from Atlantic Wines & Liquors.

Foodie, first off I am a regular customer who also happens to know the store manager from times before he ever came to this particular store. He knows that I am good on my word. He promised me the wine would be pulled and held until I picked it up on Thursday. I offered to pay and he said not to worry, we'll take care of that when you pick it up. As for the mixed case discount, not illegal in Virginia; just against their stated store policy. I understand that, but I was cheated and was not properly treated as a good customer. I have not been back there since, I'll find other sources.

There are four wine stores in this area that I frequent. In each one, when I walk in the door I am greeted: "Hi Mr. Dutton" or "Hi, Mike", depending on the store and my willingness to become casual with them. Because of the above fiasco, there may just be three now.
