I finaly got the recipe for Grandma's pickled okra, and have added it to the cookbook.

The kids that were fighting over the fried tomatoes and okra are actualy my 23 and 28 year old step daughters. I didn't want to give you the wrong impression. My 5-ft 9-inch, 200-lb., 13 year old son wouldn't touch the stuff. But there aren't many vegetables that he does eat, although he loves broccaly.
