Ah yes, Pasquale Mastantuono, a very much unheralded and under appreciated winemaker. The guy made some awesome Zins for many years. We first visited almost 20 years ago and met Pasquale, who apparently was quite enamored with Judy because he spent about 40 minutes with us ignoring everyone else in the tasting room. We left with two bottles of his 25th Anniversary 1992 Barbera, the last of which we had 3 years ago. It was still a great wine.
