Was surprised to see

a wine marked down from $36 to $9 at Schnucks today. 2006 Louis Bernard Cotes du Rhone. Knowing little about CdRs but with a suspicion that $36 was a bit pricey for one, I decided to ask the wine lady at the store if the origional price was perhaps a misprint. She said she wasn't the right person to ask about this particular wine, but assured me that they often have price cuts that dramatic when a producer is trying to get rid of something. A quick google search at home showed me that everyone seems to be selling this at around what I paid. Guess I didn't find a steal after all. Oh well. Hopefully it'll be worth the $9 I paid.
