Heavy, heavy snow coming down

Although we were told by radio weatherpeople about the snow storm coming our way, it by-passed us this time. Instead of 5 to 10 inches predicted we got a dusting, but dipped from being in the 50s back down to below freezing.

The last time I saw lightening and heard thunder through a snow storm was during one of the most fierce, dangerous and destructive storms we have had in the past 20 years. That is a scary scenario, almost as scary as the two massive arctic storms I remember while stationed at Thule Greenland in my Air Force days---ssssssshaking!
