... if you're a fan of wines from Europe. As you all probably know from the news lately, the Dollar's really taking a hit against the Euro. From a purely selfish point of view, that's now going to make the wines you buy from France, Italy, Germany, etc. more expensive. We're starting to see the effects of the soft dollar in the shop. We've had a nice Collin Bourisette Macon-Fuisse on the shelf at $13.99 for a year now. The new vintage is in and we have to price it at $16.99 to maintain margins. I think we can expect to see that across the board as long as the euro stays stronger than the dollar. Personally, I much prefer New World wines, so I won't suffer as much as those of you who like the Bordeaux, Burgundies and such. Our cellar is probably no more than 5% Old World.
