Absolutely the Banfi with strawbs, why not make it a complete sparkling affair? For V'day, I'd serve no less than French Champagne with dinner. The weight depends on the preparation of the shrimp. With a light or subtle dish, non vintage brut. With a more pizazzful recipe, definitely a brut rosé. Dry rosés are renowned pairings for shellfish, my choice would simply have bubbles. For me, the 14th is V'day, our 20th wedding anniversary, and two days past my wife's birthday so I'd better get the wine right. No second chances!
