Welcome to the board. Sounds like a romantic dinner is in the works. happy Valentine's Day!
Maybe not perfect with the shrimp, but Banfi Rosa Regali Brachetto d'Acqui, a bubbly rose' wine from Italy, is a great match to chocolate-covered strawberries or raspberries and probably okay with the shrimp (simple boiled shrimp or spiced up, etc.?). I also like the lighter types of Pinot Noir with simple shrimp dishes and sometimes a white wine such as a dry Riesling Kabinett or Gruner Veltliner from Austria or Maconnais (from Chardonnay grape but usually not influenced by oak barrels)from France.
