When I first moved into my house a couple of years ago, I pretty much gutted the place, move walls, gutted the kitchen, washrooms, etc and installed all new heating, A/C, windows, etc,... everything except......the old oak floors that came with this old colonial.... The floors were in decent to fair shape back then but over these last two years, they have deteriorated significantly......so this year I finally decided to refinish them....WHAT A MESS...there is dust everywhere.,.. I had to move all my furniture into two bedrooms and the kitchen (which will be done next week)...in fact, I am living .............in my cellar......I guess that's not such a bad thing... It's cool in there....#@$!#$!@ Never again...painful lesson on not skimping on large renovations
