Agree with Winophite that it's a subjective question, in many respects, as it all depends on the individual wine. In very general terms, and I mean VERY general, Cab is typically considered to be more full-bodied than Shiraz/Syrah. Of course, I've had many Shiraz/Syrah wines that are more full-bodied then some Cabs I've tasted, but that's the rule-of-thumb. As for the "stronger" taste, that's not a great descriptor to use, as it's way too subjective and means different things to different people. It could mean tannic, spicy, alcoholic, etc.
