Here are my three favorite responses to this assignment.

Finish the following sentence:
I'm thankful for...

...turkey, because I like eating it when it is dead and cooked. (chasing those live birds around the dining room table is a real nuisance, I agree.)


...restaurants, because you would not want to eat home every night. (says a lot for Mom's cooking....)

and finally, the best...drum roll, please..

....my teacher, because she is so good at her job, I think she deserves a long vacation!
