Foodie, I'm not really supposed to drink any alcohol because of the Hep C, but once in a great while I can have a bit. (At least that's what I tell myself. My liver might disagree!) So once every couple of months I allow myself a glass of wine or a lite beer. I really miss it, I have to admit-especially my port! I think the wine I had in PA was the first since some prosecco at Christmas. Today I used a 1/2 cup of a rather sweet red from Mt. Hope called Moonlight Encounter in a huge pot of tomato sauce. I did drink about 2 oz. on its own to see how it was. Like I said, it was rather sweet and raisiny. I liked it, but I don't dare drink any more. Oh well, such is life.
