Hello
I've recently read that some wine fining processes use isinglass or bone charcoal. Can anyone tell me if this is true and if it is, which wines are most likely to use this process. Would it be used in champagne?
The article also said that some wine makers use dried blood in fining. Surely this isn't true!!!!?
Would appreciate it if anyone in the know can shed some light on this.
Thanks
Louise
