I looked up the article last Friday. Very moving. As I mentioned before, I have seen some of the soldiers come back from Afghanistan and Iraq with prosthetics or burns on the face, etc. Then there are the ones like this soldier that are damaged more emotionally or mentally than physically. The sacrifices are very real and often very permanent.
