elementary school reunion

The reunion was a smashing success! More than 400 people in attendance. A whole night of smiles, hugs, handshakes and warm memories. "Kids" even brought their parents along! Everybody in town knew everybody else so it was just wonderful to see their folks as well. Many retired teachers and principals,(I'd never realized mine was so SHORT!) We wandered all around the building reminiscing. "Look at us, we're in the (gasp!)TEACHERS' room!" I even saw the guy who told me there was no Santa Claus when we were in the third grade. Good thing no alcohol was being served or I bet I'd have told him off! All in all a beautiful once-in-a lifetime event! Oh yeah, Bruce and Patti were no shows. Didn't matter a bit.
