CG,
She specializes in Pinot Noir (some great ones) normally sold direct from the winery or to restaurants. In Charlotte, NC Bonterra and Zebra Restaurants carry her wines. She was one of the female pioneers in the business. I had the chance to meet her (and her husband, son, son's girl friend) when I attended a Triangle Wine Experience event (in 2003 I think) and was seated at her table! I asked if she had attended UC-Davis (yes) and whether there had been many women attending at that time. I think she told me only two women (or maybe it was only two who had actually gone into the wine industry). Her husband also told me that it was a rare treat for them to be drinking her wines that night because they can't be drinking up the profits of the business. I didn't like the Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir (blueberry flavors) as well as the other we tried which was from older plantings.
