I don't want to over-hype this but Judye's daughter's new hubby brought this back from the grocery store - a 1.5 litre - and I did the usual cringe (jug wine, cheap crap, etc.) when I saw the bottle. I was a litle encouraged by the fact that it's made by Beaulieu but still leery. Surprisingly, it wasn't bad at all. Has actual Cabernet characteristics - cassis, blackberry, a little tar, little coffee - and nice firm medium body. With our pizza, it was very drinkable. Not the Cab you want to put out for special guests but several cuts above what you normally find in the "big bottles". Sells for about $12 a pop and, being BV, there's a lot of it around. Good value.
