1996 Placido Cabernet Sauvignon

This showed up as a recent addition to the Placido selections in one of our local retailers, and I picked up a few bottles on a lark, figuring that it could be made into salad dressing if need be. Surprise! A fresh minty nose, peppery fruitiness that seems more like that of a Zin than a Cab. Someone else please blow four bucks and tell me I'm not seeing ghosts. Four bucks! $3.99!?! Clayton, my retailer, has gotta be sandbagging me!
