I'll be there as well. In July and August. There are many wineries to confront. Your best bet is to go to southern Rhone. It There you will find the best wines Provence has to offer. You would feel like a kid in a candy store at Chateauneuf-du-Pape. And up and across from there is Gigondas, the first town of the south. Great wine and history. They are both just above Avignon. And another place down by the Med is Bandol. You should have good luck at most of the vinewards there.
