Well I couldn't wait so here goes.

Alain Paret Condrieu les Ceps du Nebadon 2003

$30 at Spec's, 13.5%

Well this is no Guigal. Wood on the nose, typical viognier on the palate but so much so that it tasted more like a southern French varietal than a condrieu. Just too rich, no subtlety. If I could go back, I would pass.

So then, next: does anybody know the Domaine de Coursedon (Lesec) St. Joseph "Sensonne?" In particular, the 2000 and the 2001?
