You can also pop it in the fridge to get it to the temp you want, about 10 min per degree. So if your room temp is 72, put it in for two hours to get to 60. Or, I'll pop it in the freezer if I want it done faster. You can cool it down to lower and always let it rise in temp in the glass in your hand. Plus, you can see the affect temp has on the tastes and smells as it changes.
