Hello all,

well, I probably have kind of a weird question, but nevertheless it's meant seriously.
A British friend of mine told me recently that one of their most famous wines there is the German branding called "Hock" from Rheinhessen. I never heard of it and would like to know more about it. So if anyone of you knows more about it, would you be so kind and let me know?
And the second part OF MY QUESTION IS:
This friend also told me the one famous sparkling white wine they often drink and which is from GERMANY too is called Lambrusco. No joke.
I always drank Lambrusco knowing it as it being an Italian red wine, so I wonder if there exists a prosecco with the same name ... made in Germany.
Can it be like this.
Well, it really may sound funny to you, but I'm really wondering about this and would like to know if I'm thinking wrong or right.
Thank you in advance.

Masotti
