This country, at times, seems awash with cheap champagne served at celebrations, weddings, etc.

I wonder why prosecco and cava have not caught on more, as their P/Q ratio seems very high in comparison. I can't recall a cava that I didn't like, and only 1 prosecco (don't remember the name) failed to excite me. I know people rightly have an affinity for good champagne, but at the lower price points, prosecco and cava are for me!
