Just tried their NV brut for the first time. Much of your description fits for this off-the-rack offering. Although we liked it, it was quite heavy and full compared to our usual diet of Jacquesson xtra brut and VC Ponsardin. We thought the weight lent itself to use as an aperatif but only if it was easily available in half bottles. So far that's only true of one of our NY dealers and he doesn't ship to NJ.
