This is one of Terry Theise's small grower imports.

The nose gets me real excited. Creamy, toasty brioche. Lots of vanilla in there. Really luscious aroma.
Unfortunately, doesn't quite live up that high on the palate. Peach fuzz, a hint of vanilla, quite strong minerality, and a bit overly dry on the finish. Maybe the finish will flesh out with another year gone by, but that wouldn't make it any more than nice and somewhat interesting. No replacement for my nv Egly!
