Actually from Portugal. Deep ruby, opaque in the glass, bright red fruit on the nose, more on the palate, soft but not weak-kneed at all, worth every dime, lip-smacking finish. With smoked jalapeno sausage, 14% alc/vol and $10.99 at Costco; will buy more for Mexican pairings and bbq.
