What you have is a Cava, which is a sparkling wine made in a similar fashion to Champagne, except that it's from Spain not France. There is no date on the bottle because it's a non-vintage sparkling wine. The bottle you describe is the Heredad version. It now retails for about $19. If you got it 10 years ago, it probably cost $8 or $9. Ten years is a long time for that wine to survive in what was probably less than perfect conditions, but you never know. Chill it and open it, but have a fresher bottle ready.
