Speaking personally, though it probably affects how quiet the Spanish thread seems, many of the Spanish wines I have on a pretty regular basis are ones that are sort of staples in my cellar. I rarely post on them beyond once or twice. For example, my "daily drinker" part of the cellar usually has many bottles of Vina Alarba, a wonderful value wine at $6. I'll post on a new vintage, but then rarely revisit the post to update it as I work through many bottles over the coming months. I'll usually only make follow-up posts if a wine starts to fall apart, or if there is significant bottle variation, or notable vintage variation. So, I suppose the thread might appear quiet, but if others are like me, there is probably a good deal more Spanish wine being consumed than just the stuff being talked about.

By the way, thanks for the note on the Valdubon Crianza. I haven't had a great deal of luck with '02 Crianzas, so I'll look for this one.
