I'm actually suprised at how quiet this board is, what with the popularity of Spanish wines of late.

I recently enjoyed the Valdubon 2002 Crianza. What a wine! Lovely structure with smooth tannins and a full mouthfeel. Dark fruit such as cherry and blackberry with a hint of chocolate and pepper. The finish was nice and long.

I paired it with, of all things, a nice juicy burger off the grill. Not bad at all [img]http://wines.com/ubb/smile.gif[/img]

This wine hails from the Ribera del Duero region.
