Hi ScotTex, and welcome to the Wine Board. A Saint-Chinian from the South of France would go fine. It is made primarily from grenache and syrah with a handful of lesser grapes blended in. You should be able to find one for around $10 per bottle. You are going to need four to six bottles depending on how much they drink. An alternative is Rosemount Grenache Shiraz from Australia. It does not have the other grapes in the blend, and is a simpler wine. It will run around $6 or $7. Both should be available at the H.E.B. superstore there in Austin or at that Whole Food Emporium you have there.
