1977 Sandeman Vintage Port

My next door neighbor and his son and son-in-law dropped in last nite. Whilst I finished off the Ten they had an 02 Clos Du Val Cab then alla' un thot a nice port would help our digestive tracts. Still holding strong. Clear brite ruby. Intense floral, cassis and prune nose. Still has some tannins to resolve but getting there. Not quite as dense as the Taylor or Fonseca but a mighty keen bottle. 91/95. 22 . 21% alc. WW
