I think perhaps the reason I like the Cockburn is because it is a little drier. The 10-year tawny was the libation I chose to celebrate the last couple New Year's Eves and was used as the dessert wine with fourteen-layer chocolate cake at a church dinner we gave for fundraising purposes. I tried the 20-year Taylor Fladgate recently and while I found it richer and lusher, I'm not sure I liked it as well--maybe too sweet.
